Listserver Use Agreement

By checking the box below, you automatically renew your membership to The BCJA Discussion List Serve, the e-mail discussion group for BCJA members.  If you do not sign below, that indicates your desire NOT to participate.

Upon receipt of the approved certification below your membership to The BCJA Discussion List Serve will be renewed. If you have an e-mail address and you and your firm do no more than 10% insurance defense work in personal injury matters, you have a unique opportunity to join other Broward County Justice lawyers in this exclusive e-mail discussion group, sharing the latest rulings from judges and the latest information on our local defense doctors.  Search for experts, mediators, and treating doctors, download depositions and receive input from over 400 trial attorneys and paralegals on the issues that matter most to you.  Membership in The BCJA Discussion List Serve is a privilege of the organization, and not a right.  The Board retains the right to revoke the BCJA Discussion List Serve privilege of any individual as it sees fit.  Neither the Board, nor the organization, endorses the opinions of the individual members of The BCJA Discussion List Serve.  Further, all persons are reminded that members who make comments through this e-mail group are still subject to the Florida Bar Ethics rules.  Complaints regarding other members of The BCJA Discussion List Serve for alleged violations of the rules of conduct for the group should be addressed to the Board for action.  The BCJA Discussion List Serve’s primary purpose is for the joint prosecution of Plaintiff litigation.  Therefore, it is the position of the organization that all communications on The BCJA Discussion List Serve are privileged work product.

I agree not to share any information on The BCJA Discussion List Serve with anyone that is not a member of The BCJA Discussion List Serve.  I agree that at no time should any member of The BCJA Discussion List Serve comment on any litigation or issue regarding a case in which another member of The BCJA Discussion List Serve is representing the opposing side.
